Software used with Career Organiser
Career Organiser uses some software to provide the features included in the programme.
To run the programme correctly, you need the following software on your system:
- QuickTime
- Adobe Reader
- A word processor.
Most modern computer systems will already have these software packages installed. But our programme will check to see if they are available when it runs, and will advise you if they are not.
If you don't have some of the software, you can get all of it completely free of charge. Details are given below about how to obtain it quickly.

How do I get Adobe Reader?
The Adobe Reader installer is loaded on the flash drive version of Career Organiser. So you can install it from there.
You can also get the latest version of Adobe Reader by clicking on the Reader logo on the right.
How do I get QuickTime?
QuickTime is supplied on the flash drive version of Career Organiser. And the programme will prompt you to install it if it is not already on your system.
You can also get the latest version by clicking on the QuickTime logo on the right.
How do I get a word processor?
We recommend OpenOffice.org. This is a completely free word processor which is packed with sophisticated features.
